KuibyshevAzot has recapped the results of the work for the first half of 2021

As compared with the corresponding period of the year 2020, the output of the main types of products has amounted to:

 - 555.5 thousand tons (102.1%) of ammonia (including the output of the joint venture Linde Azot Togliatti LLC);

- 359.4 thousand tons (95.7%) of ammonium nitrate;

- 176.7 thousand tons (95.8%) of urea;

- 261.3 thousand tons (106.4%) of ammonium sulphate;

- 154 thousand tons (99.7%) of urea-ammonium nitrate;

- 103.9 thousand tons (104.2%) of caprolactam;

- 88.4 thousand tons (125.4%) of polyamide 6;

- 3.5 thousand tons (193.4%) of polyamide thread;

- 10.0 million linear meters (145.5%) of dipped cord fabric.

 The company continues its active phase of implementation of investment projects that ensure the effective growth of the company and sustainable development.

 In partnership with the Italian concern Maire Tecnimont Group, work continues on the construction of a new urea unit, which implies application of advanced technologies that ensure environmentally friendly and safe manufacture.

 In April, a recertification audit took place at the company, which confirmed that the integrated management system complies with the requirements of the international standards of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems; ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems; ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems.

 KuibyshevAzot pays particular attention to environmental projects and environment protection measures. In 2021, the company continues the construction of the second phase storm water treatment facilities of the Northern industrial hub and of the part of the Central District of the city of Togliatti. A project aimed at reducing emissions is being implemented at the ammonium nitrate production site—the construction of a new granulation and evaporation plant.

As part of the international conference organized by Royal DSM, the Netherlands (DSM Materials), KuibyshevAzot PJSC has received an award under the Best Quality Award category for the high level of supplies service and stable quality of raw materials intended for the production of polymer composite materials.

 In June, KuibyshevAzot became one of the winners of the regional contest EcoLeader 2020 under the Industrial Giant category.

 All the prospective projects being implemented by the company are aimed at reducing the consumption of raw materials, of thermal and power resources, mitigating the impact of production on the environment, as well as at retaining the company’s market positions.

 In the first half of 2021, KuibyshevAzot PJSC invested 3.7 billion rubles in the development of the company’s production and the renewal of the existing equipment.
