KuibyshevAzot has drawn conclusions on the work for I quarter of 2021

For three months of 2021, KuibyshevAzot PJSC marketable product turnover was 16,100 million rubles that exceeds the parameters of the same period of past year by 17.1 %. The net profit based on the results of I quarter of 2021 was 2,600 million rubles.

Compared with the same period of 2020, the production of principal types of products was:

– ammonia — 101 % (considering the production of Linde Azot Togliatti LLC joint venture);

– ammonium nitrate — 95.9 %;

– urea — 94.7 %;

– ammonium sulphate — 106.3 %;

– UAN — 66.3 %;

– caprolactam — 102,9 %;

– polyamide-6 — 106 %;

– polyamide yarn — 165.4 %;

- dipped cord fabric — 119.2 %.

In I quarter of 2021, at the production site, the work on implementing current and prospective investment projects was continued.

The construction of a new urea production facility is in progress in partnership with the Maire Tecnimont Group Italian concern. The project will use the advanced technologies that ensure environmentally friendly and safe production. It is expected that, as a result, the enterprise achieves reducing CO₂ emissions causing the greenhouse effect by 390 thousand ton per year.

The second stage of construction of the stormwater runoffs effluent facilities of the Northern Industrial Hub and a part of the Central District of Togliatti Urban District is in progress. The project is implemented for account of KuibyshevAzot PJSC own funds. Putting this facility into operation will make a significant contribution into solving the ecological problems of Volga River Basin.

At ammonium nitrate production facility, a new granulation and stripper unit is under construction. The aim of the project is to reduce emissions. It is to complete by the end of 2021.

All prospective projects implemented by the enterprise has an aim to reduce the consumption of raw materials, thermal and power resources, to mitigate the production impact on the environment, as well as to retain the company market positions under current economical instability conditions.

In I quarter of 2021, KuibyshevAzot PJSC invested 1,200 million rubles for the enterprise production development and updating the operating equipment.
