Operations Results of KuibyshevAzot PJSC for 9 months of 2019

The sales volume of KuibyshevAzot PJSC commercial output for the nine months of 2019 amounted to 40.8 billion rubles. Net profit amounted to 3.62 billion rubles. Financial performance decrease resulted from turn in the market and increase in tariffs on energy resources.

Compared with the indicators for the same period in 2018, the main products output was:  

- ammonia –  800, 1 kt (94,4%) (taking into account the output of JV Linde Azot Togliatti LLC);

- mineral fertilizers in terms of 100% nitrogen – 379,0 kt (101,6 %), including:

        ammonium nitrate – 491,1 kt (105,1%);

        urea –  273,6 kt (100,7%);

        ammonium sulphate –391,5 kt (95,8%);

- caprolactam –  156,8 kt (97,4%);

- polyamide-6 – 111,0 kt (97,8 %);

- industrial yarn – 3,8 kt (99,4%);

- cord fabric – 2,5 kt (91,3%)

- dipped cord fabric – 14,2 million linear meters (104,1%).

 The activities on the construction of a new urea plant in cooperation with Italian concern Maire Tecnimont Group continues at production site of the enterprise. 

 The construction is reaching completion and commissioning is started on ammonium sulphate-nitrate production and second nitric acid universal complete line.

 Planned improvements were held at caprolactam and urea production plants.

 Work is in progress on construction of a plant for the production of “K” grade sulfuric acid and improved oleum with a total capacity of 500 thousand tons per year. The project is funded within the framework of the State Project Finance Factory program of VEB.RF.

 A complex approach to the modernization and revamp of existing production plants allows to reduce the consumption of energy and raw materials. So, for 9 months of the current year, compared to the same period in 2018, the specific consumption per ton of production was reduced as follows: natural gas by 0.7%; benzene by 2.4%, hydrogen by 1%; caustic soda by 3.7%; heat energy - by 6.7%.

 The scheduled audit, which took place at the enterprise, confirmed that integrated management system (IMS) of KuibyshevAzot PJSC complied with requirements of international standards of quality management systems ISO 9001:2015; environmental management ISO 14001:2015; occupational health & safety advisory services OHSAS 18001:2007.  Furthermore, audit of quality management system (QMS) of KuibyshevAzot in the area of design and production of dipped cord fabric confirm its completion with international IATF 16949:2016 standard.

 Special attention is paid to environmental projects, within the frameworks of which construction of storm water treatment facilities for the enterprises of the Northern industrial hub and part of Central District of Togliatti continues. The project is implemented from the own resources of the enterprise and is included in the national program Preservation and Improvement of the Volga River.

 All the above-mentioned projects are aimed at ensuring the prospective development of KuibyshevAzot PJSC, reducing of raw materials, heat and energy resources consumption, reducing the environmental impact of production, as well as at maintaining Company’s market positions in the conditions of increasing competition.

 During 9 months of present year, 7.5 billion rubles were invested in the industrial development of the enterprise, and 1.6 billion rubles were channeled towards maintenance and upgrade of equipment. In 2019, total investments in Company development will amount to 10 billion rubles.
