Operations Results of KuibyshevAzot PJSC for H1, 2019

The sales volume of KuibyshevAzot PJSC commercial output for the six months of 2019 amounted to 28.3 billion rubles. Net profit amounted to 3 billion rubles.

Compared with the indicators for the same period in 2018, the main products output was:

- ammonia – 513.9 kt (92 %)

(taking into account the output of JV Linde Azot Togliatti LLC);

- mineral fertilizers in terms of 100% nitrogen –   249.3 kt (98,6 %), including:

        ammonium nitrate – 332.1 kt (102,3%);

        urea –  179.3 kt (100,2%);

        ammonium sulphate –243.0 kt(88,5%);

- caprolactam –  98.3 kt (90,8%);

- polyamide-6 – 72.2 kt (92,3 %);

- industrial yarn – 2.8 kt (72,0%);

- cord fabric – 1.7 kt (102,4%)

- dipped cord fabric – 9.4 million linear meters (98,6 %).

In February 2019, within the framework of Sochi Russian Investment Forum, State Development Corporation VEB.RF, Gazprombank and KuibyshevAzot PJSC signed a syndicated loan agreement to finance the “Construction of a plant for the production of “K” grade sulfuric acid and improved oleum with a total capacity of 500 thousand tons per year” project. The project will be funded under the “Project Finance Factory” program.

 Also the construction of a new urea plant in cooperation with Italian concern Maire Tecnimont Group continues.

 The scheduled audit, which took place in April 2019, confirmed that integrated management system (IMS) of KuibyshevAzot PJSC complied with requirements of international standards of quality management systems ISO 9001:2015; environmental management ISO 14001:2015; occupational health & safety advisory services OHSAS 18001:2007.

The construction of ammonium sulphate-nitrate production is reaching completion, as well as the works on the second nitric acid universal complete line continues.

 Audit of quality management system (QMS) of KuibyshevAzot in the area of design and production of dipped cord fabric confirm its completion with international IATF 16949:2016 standard, focused at needs of automobile industry enterprises.

Construction of storm water treatment facilities for the enterprises of the Northern industrial hub and part of Central District of Togliatti continue to be built. The project is implemented from the own resources of the enterprise and is included in the national program “Preservation and Improvement of the Volga River”.

All the above-mentioned projects are aimed at ensuring the prospective development of KuibyshevAzot PJSC, reducing of raw materials, heat and energy resources consumption, reducing the environmental impact of production, as well as at maintaining Company’s market positions in the conditions of increasing competition.
